Meet Shay Moore
A voice built on resilience.
Born in Queens, New York, Shay Moore’s journey into broadcasting began after her family relocated to Atlanta. Once a quiet girl with a stutter, she found her voice as the halftime announcer for her high school marching band. From then on, when Shay talks, people listen.
A proud graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, Shay earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a master’s in Organizational Leadership. Her radio career spans more than 25 years, 11 stations and six states.
Today she hosts The Shay Moore Morning Show on Power 105.1 FM in Kansas City and The Ride with Shay, a nationally syndicated R&B night show airing in more than 40 cities. She also brings stories to life through voiceover, shares lessons of resilience as an author, and speaks to audiences with humor, faith and truth.
